In the book Norman mailer wrote on Ali-Foreman, "Rumble in the Jungle", he likened Foreman to a lion vs Norton...I've always agreed with that.
"The Fight" is a great book. My friend got me it from a charity shop and i have been reading it in dribs and drabs. I think it is the second or third chapter with the part about how Ali spent his time in training learning how to roll with punches and glance blows off his gloves, i love that part.
Mailer certainly could get into a "groove" in those boxing themed books of his.."The Fight" is another great book.
I, for one, haven't read any of those books. Well, that's my contribution... I'll just... leave now I guess...
I am not into reading full books but the way Mailer writes makes it easy to read one chapter or even half a chapter then just pick it up at a later date. I have found its a nice way to break me into reading books because i always feel left out and less educated compared to people who classify them selfs as readers.
