If Cotto improves some more and Pac slows down a bit. Give it a year. If Cotto can impress us with a wide decision or stoppage of Margarito, or even a competitive showing against Martinez, then it can be talked about.

I feel different, a healthy clear headed Cotto will give anyone trouble. The guy was going through so many things and not even being fully heal from his Clottey fight and this fight being rush aside from the Manny demands. Arum just wanted to make Manny the star and did not care about Cotto in anyway at that time. Cotto still held his own and even though many were booing at the end, just take a look at round number 10 where everyone seems so blind with Manny, he was getting hit and jab and nobody notice througout the whole round.

I think Cotto would go the distance in the 2nd fight but he'd lose on pts...116-112 117-111.

I think the adjustments that have shown in Cottos last fight are not enough to pull off a win, But I am confident that he is improving it showed in his last outting he was boxing and on his toes the entire fight.

give Cotto another fight then head into the rematch, I think to this date recently Cotto has put it on Pacquiao more than any fighter recently, even Margarito, who made it to the cards and landed more shots, Cotto did more damage to Pac IMO.

be honest cotto was getting caught with some big shots from an old shot smoking 50 a day mayorga, he would be brutalized again by pacquiao and stopped.

Pac by KO way sooner this time. Cotto will proly lose to JCC Jr first though, he's finished as an elite fighter

  9. if they fight again it needs to be @ 154 no catchweights or not at all

Um... you do remember that, even to this day, Cotto is a small Super Welterweight, right? Also, at the time of Pac-Cotto, he said he felt comfortable making 145, and looked his usual self.

Didn't Cotto win another ABC title in another weight division? If so, you can bet Cotto will get another chance at Pac. Cotto is getting older too. Cotto definitely fits the Pacman criteria.

Cotto is a decent boxer / puncher but his chin is not that great. Another beatdown by Pac.
