Benn wasn't on Jones radar, he was finished after his fight with G-Man, and so was G-Man which pretty much ruled him out permanently too. After that fight Benn lost to Collins twice and so did Eubank around the same time...if Roy can be accused of ducking anyone it's actually Collins not Benn or Eubank - and Collins just ****ing sucked. Take a look at common opponents of Benn, Eubank and Roy before you spout ****, fighters they both struggled with got demolished by Jones. Also Benn and Eubank both ducked the **** out of Toney and we all saw what happened when Jones faced that guy didn't we?

The Jones hating on here has hit epic proportions, time to educate the idiots on what really happened I think.

 

Julian Jackson doesn't bring enough money to the table to warrant Jones consideration in a fight. I will let you in on a secret , since you seem to be so ****ing stupid, boxing is a business.

 

So beating at least one out of Benn/McLellan plus Collins and then Darius and also Nunn would have made Jones' record more or less perfect up until 2003? These are the names that are missing? (And I don't mean to say that Jones ducked them all, just that they were guys with whom fights should have been made in order to erase all doubts about Jones' status as the supreme fighter of the era.)

EDIT: For a fight with Julian Jackson to take place it would have had to be during Jones' days as a MW, before McLellan beat Jackson. A win over Jackson then would certainly enhance Jones' record at MW, but it would do little for his SMW record to beat him after McLellan did.

 

Plus, Jackson got beat up by Quincy Taylor not far after. I'm not sure how much a win over a faded but still dangerous(?) Jackson helps Jones here.
