Is David Haye skilled enough, to navigate his way around Wlad, and into position, without getting his own chin touched? cause that seems to be what he needs to do in order to beat Wlad, and negate his own durability being exploited. Haye is a better fighter, but Byrd and Chambers, are arguably more technically sound than Haye, as quick, if not quicker, and neither could get close to land, or weren't able to stay close enough consistently, without getting nailed. This is what I say Haye has a lottery chance, not to say he cant hit the lottery, but its almost like he's got to roll the dice in order to win, and it will either pay off, or it will backfire.
He needs to get past the jab, he can definitely hurt pac but I think the guy with the better defense wins this via tko.
If you're talking lottery then I say his numbers already came up! Win or lose he willl take home millions!!
Lmao, you sound deluded about Pac. Pac is great and everything but people like you make him look not better but worse, you got simply too much Pac in your brain. lol atsch
This fight boils down to 2 factors for Haye. Haye's head movement: With Haye keeping his hands low he like to move his head alot which he has has alot of suceess with over the years. If has to slip Wlad's jab if he fails he may as well stay on his stool as the fights over! Haye's Pressure: Fight like Tyson! if he fights like he did against valuez he will loose! If he fights like he did againts Barret and Ruiz he should be ok! Haye tends to change his style for every fight he is in! I will be interested to see what the Dark Lord comes up wuith for Wlad! They must be very happy as they have pushed for Wlad for a long time. Its nice to see Wlad is taking it serious as well. all i can say is 12 sparing partners!!!! WOW. At least Wlad appreciated Haye as a fighter unlike many of his fans. This fight will end in a KO its just down to who's plan comes off first! BUT this is a very very dangerous fight for both guys.
Haye relies too much on his gifted athletic abilities. He isn't the most skilled around but due to his somewhat awkward syle coupled with speed and power, makes him a dangerous fighter for anyone. Wlad is technically better and uses his size very well.
Haye is skilled enough to win, but it is definitely not his biggest asset in this fight. I don't think he is durable for 12 rounds against Wlad like you said and his condition will be a big factor as I see it. He can't be as reckless as he was against Valuev and he needs to take control of the fight, maybe if he has got the stamina to stay on his toes and use footwork and upper-body movement then he might frustrate Wlad. I think Haye has become a smart fighter, no tactical genius, but smart enough to follow a gameplan and adjust during a fight, which could be key. He should try and control the pace and use great timing against the big man cause that could help him in the end as well. His weight should be low in order to be faster, and then he might surprise Wlad with a punch then you never know, can only see him winning a close points decision if he fights the perfect fight or Wlad is having a big off day.
A big problem for me regarding Haye is his stamina. If he gasses early against Wlad could spell disaster!
I think so, yeah, because Wad won't throw caution to the wind. I don't think Haye is skilled enough to avoid Wlad's punches, especially not when he puts them together, but I am confident Haye can avoid the jab and that's all I think Wlad will do. Like I've said before, Wlad very rarely throws big punches against a moving target. He waits, literally, until they're standing square right in front of him before he throws the right hand. The rest of the time, he is happy to dominate behind his jab, so the question to me isn't "Can Haye avoid getting hit?" it is "Can Haye avoid getting hit by the jab?" and I think the answer to that is "yes". Honestly, I think Haye will come into the fight with one huge edge on Wlad. Wlad is the better fighter and Steward is the better trainer and I think they both know that which could quite easily lead to an overconfident performance. When was the last time Wlad actually had a gameplan? We did he last look visibly different? I don't think he has under the tutelage of Steward. I think the edge I mentioned is that Haye will have a gameplan. Steward is a trainer who, with Lewis, Hearns, Wlad and many more, purely works on a fighters strengths without really coming up with a gameplan which is why a physically superior fighter like Taylor struggled with lesser fighters such as Spinks. To me, Steward is a great trainer but not a great tactician. That gives the edge to Haye/Booth to me because I think they are the only camp who are working on a gameplan. Wlad will just be working on having the strongest jab possible, the strongest right hand possible, work on his defence and that's it. Are they going to break the habit they've always had and come up with a genuine gameplan? I don't think so. Wlad should win this fight but I don't think he will.
That's how I see it as well, because Wlad will come prepared, but Haye needs to be in real good condition, or else he'll get mauled
Honestly, I don't think the fight will go long enough for stamina to play a part. I don't see it going 5 rounds.
So you think Haye will land the big punch? That's possible, but Wlad is vey catious as you said, so can't be to sure it ends within the first 6rds. That being said I'm confident this will be a real tense and explosive heavyweight fight, two big punchers with fragile chins... either man can end this with 1 punch, though IMO Haye is slightly more likely to do so
