Ortiz will KO Mayweather

  1. Remember where ya heard it first. A young, confident, motivated, talented southpaw, who will come into the ring @ 160lbs.+

Once Ortiz hurts him, he'll finish him.

PBF will be off for more than a year and is 34 years old. Time has to catch up to him at some point. With that said, I don't think it will happen but Ortiz does have a puncher's chance in this fight.

    Mismatch.

    If u thought JMM-Mayweather was one-sided :-(

That will be nothing compared to this. Ortiz is slower than JMM and lacks the technical skills. No chance.

Ortiz will have to find Floyd to hurt him.

    PBF UD

I'll give Ortiz probably 4 rounds for aggression. Floyd 8 for effective tomfoolery and potshotting.

If Ortiz goes gun blazing early throwing in volume with both hands upstairs and downstairs he can stop Floyd. No reason to try anything else. Pussyboy is a slow starter and throws few punches. He is not his best at WW and far from his prime. Ortiz needs to take care of business early and his life will change forever. Once it goes to round 3 his odds are getting slimmer by the second. Get Vicious and Malicious Victor Ortiz.

If Ortiz couldn't stop Berto, he'll be lucky if he even hurts Floyd. I like Ortiz to better than Hatton, but Floyd will cutt him up once Ortiz starts flailing his arms. I think this might be more entertaining fight than Pac-Marquez?

Of course I'll root against Mayweather again, no question...
But we all know he'll give Ortiz a hiding. Oh yeah, he will. See, lil Floyd is a fundamentally skilled fighter who will not grow old overnight. Trust me, even if his speed may go, he'd still beat a Victor Ortiz and then choose to retire again. There will not be an upset.

Mayweather will fight another good opponent, but not take on the toughest challenges out there. That's the way he did it the last years, and he makes good money with it.

I agree, im not 100% convinced about floyds punch resistance at this point at age 34 and after those lay offs, ortiz also has 12 round stamina and dropped all of his last 7 opponents in the fight, he isnt really a good finisher though so perhaps he would drop him but still lose a 116-111 decision or something.

But ortiz will have two things JMM did not, Youth and strength at that weight!
