and just one more thing, Berto could also have easily won the Ortiz fight if a slightly less motivated Ortiz found himself on the canvas like that. Ortiz is a knock out waiting to happen, but he has solid solid skills and a great attack. He's just not really sound enough to avoid having to rely on his toughness, and that will fail him sooner or later. guys like Floyd, Camacho, Hopkins, usually only have to fall back on their toughness in extreme circumstances because their skills kept them out of trouble. Ortiz will always have to fall back on it against elite opponents, and its going to fail him because he can only be tough when extremely focused, its not natural to him.

Maybe having to cut less weight at 147 made him better conditioned for berto? I think if a ko happens it has to happen early, I think it will be good to see floyd face a guy that can be dangerous for 12 rounds now. Im lloking foreward to the fight.

    Ortiz will quit again

  8. But Gatti and Hatton really weren't bigger. Victor really is. A good 10 + pounds. And, that's going to matter.

Ortiz should go in 100% sure that he's not going to win a decision. With points no longer mattering, it's time to flirt with being DQ'd. If he walks out of any round - with or without being knocked down - with more than 6 points, he's ****ing up.

Realistically - Floyd stops him on or after the 8th round of a pretty one sided affair. If Ortiz makes it to the end, expect really lopsided scorecards. Maybe one round going to Ortiz...Maybe.

My "I wish unicorns shat magical money into my wallet" prediction would be Ortiz by KO.

Mayweather likes to counter the south paw jab. He catches the jab and fires the right he is going to try to come over Ortiz jabs. One thing I noticed about mayweather is he always comes forward against southpaws. I think mayweather will have the winky wright gaurd and stay in the center of the ring trying to brake Ortiz will. he will then slowly try to walk him down. Ortiz should use alot of fakes and faints to try and find openings. He should also try to fake the jab and try to make mayweather throw the right and counter it.

Mayweather has choice the best fighter other then PAC to fight. I was right about the berto fight. This 1 is going to be action

  12. People who are saying Ortiz will quit must not realize that Floyd fights nothing like Maidana. Floyd doesn't apply relentless pressure. What spooked Ortiz in that fight is that Maidana kept getting up after he got knocked down and proceeded to engage. He learned from that fight, and took Berto through hell. He's a better fighter. He's smarter. He's more confident. Ortiz will not quit against Floyd. No way.

  13. How is he going to walk down a 160+ lb. fighter when he couldn't even walk down JMM????????

    Never going to happen.
