With current crop of Welters who's mostly comprised of some EURO (bums maybe) NO ONE. But if Clottey can still make 147 I think he'd beat Ortiz to tell you honestly.... At worst it's a 55/45 odds in favor of Victor...

The Margarito who fought Pac at 150 would actually **** Ortiz in my opinion...

Who please point them out, cus right now we are saying this is a better fight than Clottey, Mosley and Margarito.... why? perhaps cus Clottey never was **** in this sport to begin with, his biggest claim to fame here is looking good while lossing that means nothing to me.
Mosley, well Mosley is shot to bits why even think about him?
Margarito, listen I am a long time Margarito fan, Ortiz right now is fresher than Margarito was going in to his fight with Pacquiao.
in other words we dont have a old washed up beat to death fighter in there with Floyd and thats why its a better choice then those three.
Now weather or not Ortiz would beat those guys its hard to say, I know this Ortiz would smack the **** out of Mosley, I could see him doing damage with Cotto as well, Margarito on the other hand may have the one tool left thats needed to beat this kid.. then again who knows with his eye socket.

Mayweather fighting a young, hungry, prime, fresh fighter who can bang and is coming off a great performance in beating an undefeated Berto is not good for boxing?

Seems a lot better than fighting washed up 'big names' or weight drained ghosts like Arum's golden child is doing.

Props to Money Mayweather and props to Victor Ortiz.

Forget Joshua ****ing Clottey, who has he beat in this sport any ****ing ways, he gets too much credit for getting beat by Margarito... funny how this **** works sometimes with the fans, turning lossing in to winning.
Clottey hasnt done a god damn thing in this sport...

Why Margarito is way too slow and take too much shots that's what you think a fighter should be? I think Ortiz is way better boxer

I dont know about that cus when it comes to Tony he makes you out tuff him, and though Ortiz showed heart in the fight with Berto there is just no quit in Margarito.
However I will say today if they fought I would lean towards Ortiz, that eye socket will be a factor.

It's a good fight... ON PAPER :hi:
Just like when Floyd fought JMM who's the number 3 P4P that time.
Ortiz would be lucky to win a single round against Floyd. He doesn't belong at that level. He's just the best contender at Welter right now cause most in the top ten are some Euro Hype-Job Bums the likes of Zaveck Senchenko Jabawakiwics something (**** their names spelling) Ayden and Kell Brook.. :deal:deal

The problem isn't that Mayweather is choosing to fight Ortiz.

It's that he chooses not to fight Pac.

Sure, Ortiz is the best of a weak division besides Pac and May, but he's not a compelling or worthy opponent for either. His offense is powerful but predictable and his defense is attrocious.

Marquez is only a slightly better matchup because of his skill level.

Again, the root of the problem is Pac-May is the only compelling fight for either, and Mayweather doesn't want that fight.
