    R U SERIOUS???? 4 all u anti pac fans who have criticized pac for picking tailor made opponents....and fighting @ catchweights, etc....u have no room 2 talk. if u justify floyd fighting ortiz (whos only 24)...yet u criticize pac man (4 fighting cotto, clottey, marg, hatton, etc)...then u expose yourself as being bias, subjective and prejudiced against pacquiao.

    nothing against vic ortiz...but hes still young & he gave up against maidana (who isnt anywhere near floyds level). if pac was 2 choose ortiz as his next opponent...pac wouldve been criticized viciously. but floyd picks ortiz and now floyd fans are finding ways 2 justify his decision. :bart

    Maybe Mayweather should fight Marquez instead at WW. Maybe that would be a better choice of opponent. Wait a minute, he already did do that, 2 years ago. He beat the **** out of Marquez and was routinely criticized for picking on a smaller man. Now Pac is right there to snack on Mayweather's leftovers, just like he did with Oscar, Ricky, and Shane.

    he fought marquez at 144...and he didnt even make weight. not to mention marquez never fought that heavy. please try again.

    ortiz is a terrible choice for floyd, but after he losses to floyd, he will be the perfect choice for pac.....sound about right?

    Usually when you challenge an established champ and you take his belt in impressive fashion. You are more likely to get the higher level opportunities then if you say fought for a vacant belt and then defended it against B level comp.

    If Pacquiao chose to fight Ortiz, he'd probably be ring champion. He's the number 1 contender at 147


    Floyd gets credit as he's taken on the recognised most dangerous opponent available

    Manny hasn't made that decision for along time so deserves no credit

    Pac- hes fighting JMM/ floyd doesnt want to fight him
    berto- Just got abused
    bradley- it would be a cherry pick
    ortiz- the new WBC champ, just beat berto @ 147 :cool:

    They changed the contract weight 5 weeks before the fight.

    What's more, do you think being beat down by Mayweather at 146 is going to make Marquez awesome at 144.............haha

    Who as Ortiz beaten if you take away the unbeaten divisional number 2 at welterweight..

    Well considering Manny's never beaten anyone ranked in the 147 top 3, that's not bad
