Absolutely true that all the pressure will be on PBF. Ortiz seems like a free spirit who has his head in a proper place. I don't think he'll get caught up in the moment & just let it all hang out on Floyd's ugly face. And this one comes the following week after VK vs Adamek! :bbb
Ortiz will have to make it a brawl and take him out early on like Hagler on Hearns ... no comparison to skill level obviously. If Ortiz doesnt hurt May earlier on, May will adjust and school Ortiz to a UD or least likely late TKO. Floyd can't be given the time and space to adjust otherwise it's all over for Ortiz. This will be a great test for Floyd against a young fast powerful south paw as a tune up if he ever fights Pac.
Ortiz will be easy for Floyd to beat. Floyd will have it a little tough the first round or so, and then settle down and stop Ortiz. Yes this fight will be a stoppage win for Floyd similar to Hatton. Floyd should really be fighting Pacman instead of Ortiz. This is another handpicked fight.
If Floyd is sleeping to his bed then for sure he can knock him out. It's a tune up fight and IT WILL NOT BE COMPETITIVE because of Floyd boxing skills. It just only for preparation for pacquiao. Good to have him back though, looks like Pacquiao vs Mayweather is on horizon if Pacquiao manhandle Marquez style easily.
lol, how? ortiz has no jab, comes in wild, chin up. this baldomir all over, only Floyd actually has a chance at a stoppage here
This is boxing.. Ortiz may not be the best opponent in the world for Floyd, but Floyd isn't unbeatable either. Hatton had no problem engaging Mayweather, though his search for success was difficult. Ortiz IMO is a far better offensive fighter then Hatton and he is capable of the same relentless mauling style. De La Hoya was also able to somewhat dilute Mayweathers boxing powers by simply pressuring him behind a good jab and his hands held high. Mayweather has proven in the past to be very capable of adapting and making adjustments(Its all I hear people talking about really) but that doesn't mean the same **** that happens to other boxers can't happen to him on any given night, he's not unbeatable.
