Froch has a great resume. And this is from a non- Froch fan(i support him but Im not a fan)

He beat some good quality fighters, and I think he has at least a 50% chance vs Ward.

Is this fight in Oakland? If it is, i am dissapoint.

Slappy Joe fought in a division that was not inaugurated until 1984. For a good many years it went largely ignored, or was regarded as a place to stop briefly on the way to 175. When 168 got hot, and became competitive, Slappy Joe retired.

Carl Froch is underrated, sure as Hell not overrated in any way. He has balls, he will fight anywhere, while Ward refuses to go outside his territory, Froch travels thousands of miles!!!

He's fought a who's who of the supermiddlewight division recently and won all but on fight which was a close affair. He's a two time champ and achieved a lot in under 30 fights. I still think head to head that calzaghe would beat him but you simply cannot knock what the guy has done and continues to do. Knock his skill sets all you want because he's not your classic boxer but have some respect.

With your point being? Both times he's beaten good opposition to capture the belt. Abraham had already been world champion. He may have been coming off a loss but it was a dq loss. Pascal was as worthy a challenger for the vacant belt as froch was and went on to become a world champion in his own right. Froch has defended his belt against high level opposition in both reigns.

Listen, I'm a calzaghe fan myself but that doesn't mean I can't remain objective when it comes to discussion other fighters much in the same vein you'd like people to treat Joe I'm sure. Calzaghe should have taken his Frank warrren tinted glasses off long ago but in my opinion he got there in the end and proved himself to be of elite class. That's not to say you should keep on swallowing his kids everytime he tells you to get on your knees. Let Christiana rhianoff do that for you

I like Calzaghe too but there's no way you can dog froch's run of fighting the best in his divsion. I'd like to see who the TS thinks has a better run of last 6 fighters of active boxers??

Froch was constantly chasing Calzaghe before Calzaghe retired, it's completely true that Froch hadn't built much of a name for himself by that time so that's probably why he didn't get the fight. But a good domestic fight against a British & Commonwealth champion (Froch at the time) could've easily been rated as highly as the crappy defence against Manfredo.

Bute didn't enter the super 6 as there was huge controversy over his "win" against Andrade. If he didn't take the immediate rematch, he would've been branded a coward. That's the reason he wasn't in the Super 6, many people seem to forget this.

    TS is a joke.

I like how you say that he beat 2 ex middleweight champs but call glen Johnson a journeyman rather than ex lhw champ! And no mention of a contender who went on to be lhw champ.

What you have said is all twisted to make it look like he only beat green, smaller or poor fighters when really if we look at it all 6 of this fighter have been in the top 10 fighters from Mw to lhw at some point over the last 3 years.
