Of course a localised pain killer for sore hands is on the same page as juicing. Above that, floyds painkiller wasnt a banned substance so its not cheating. Pain killers are used in every professional sport. You need not worry, it looks likely the fight is headed for the mgm grand in vegas.
I've got nothing against the fight, Ortiz has earned his shot at a big pay day. But excepting maybe Mosley who was obviously past his best by the time Floyd was done with him, Margarito and Clottey were as valid choices for opponents as anyone. To be honest, I didn't hear anyone clamouring for Pacquiao to take on Ortiz after or before the Mosley fight. I think Floyd is an exceptional fighter and has rarely been troubled in the ring. But if you want to use this fight to somehow belittle Manny then I think that's crazy. Manny Pacquiao is doing more to keep boxing alive than any fighter out there. Floyd does not want to fight Manny. I'm not saying he is scared but he does not want the fight, for whatever reason, known only to him.
Belittle? Manny hasnt beaten a live one since Cotto. Ortiz is a riskier opponent than Pac's last three and a very risky opponent in general. I congratulate Floyd for taking the next best fight.

Sorry i made a comment about Floyds next opponent, your point being? For the record JMM is only slightly more acceptable against Manny because of their history. Manny is a much more primed fighter than JMM and i expect him to walk through him without too much risk. My point is Ortiz is very risky
I wouldnt doubt corruption amongst any organisation. But your portrayal of how it all works makes manny look bad not floyd. Not only is he a drug cheat, but he cant be caught no matter who is doing the testing. So why doesnt MANNY sign? If floyd was posturing on all this and really didnt want to fight, all manny had to do was call his bluff and accept the testing.

Well I hope it is a good fight. The thing about both Manny and Floyd is they seem so ahead of the pack that they will always be criticised for choosing an opponent that isn't THEM. Except for maybe the Mosley fight there have been plenty of boxing pundits willing to believe that from De La Hoya through to Margarito, Pacquaio was finally gonna be exposed. The point being is that once Pac or Floyd dominates said opponent the victory is denigrated.
