So Mush sends all the messeges from here over to David Walshe at IPBA so he can vet them and Walshe comes on to my chat on facebook.

Can I ask you a something, Why do you always have to knock everything we try and do for the boxers on the IPBA shows, Have you an agenda for trying put destroy the opportunity we are trying to give lads or just trying to make yourself look an expert. I’m surprised that a so called Irishman would constantly put down a show that is doing good for these fighters. I was sent your comments on eastsideboxing.com

I knocked nothing. there is a difference in knocking and constructive criticism. If you can point out anything I said that you disagree with then I would like to hear it.

You have done nothing positive towards the IPBA which leads me to think you are just another jealous so called Irish boxing fan or journalist, Constructive criticism is welcome but you only work one way with you, like a school yard bully, Shame that you don’t stand up for the show instead of abusing your position for some kind of personal gain, Shame on you for not getting behind the boxers at least. I’m thinking that you and a few others will gloat if the show fails,

Shut up you gobshite. I published the press release you sent us, I made videos of three of the fighters on the card, I gave the show a plug on the radio show yesterday

Ha ha looks like David went with option two.Jesus what is it about some of the so called journalists on this thread that if your opinions differ any way from theirs or if you dont kiss the arse of every Irish boxer that has ever laced up gloves your a tan.

Jesus slap your lucky, he went easy on you, I got my personal life pasted all over Facebook because I pointed out he made a mistake on a poster calling one of the fighters a Stick instead of Slick.

I also received an unauthorised letter from him pretending to represent the IPBA stating that I was banned, a statement denied by the many great people of the IPBA. I had already been informed of my immanent banning from the event by Mush on here, who had very nicely went to the trouble of copying and pasting all my comments on here and sending them to David Walshe.

I made some hot headed comments on here when I stated that the IPBA were clowns, I apolagise profoundly for that comment and retract it totally, David Walshe is the only clown and that is no reflection on the IPBA who I wish all the success and am looking forward to attending both the weigh-in and the show on a press pass kindly provided by the IPBA. :thumbsup

 

I have to agree with you there. As soon as there is a minor disagreement then people start to flip the lid.

No one is obliged to kiss the arse of every Irish fighter or to think every Irish fighter is the business. Nor are they obliged to even want every Irish fighter to win.

Shows can be poorly run just as they can be very well run. People are allowed call it as they see it. As long as no one goes out of the way to run someone down for the sake of it then it's fair game in my book.

If only the level of talent attached to the sport here was commensurate to the level of ego we'd be in business. :nono

I hate to break it to you lads none of you are anywhere near as good as you think you :deal Now shut the **** up the lot of you!!!!!!!

Who is David Walshe anyway? I added him on fb when all this started but dont recognise him. Never heard of him till bout 3 weeks ago? Has he always been involved in boxing?

 

Back to the boxing abit,What weight is Eddie coming in at for the next one someone said he will box at lightmiddle,
If he is willing to box welter i think him and Haughian would be a great scrap for Haughians title.
Would love to see Spike and Coyle at either middle or lightmiddle aswell.
