Ortiz would KO margarito. Mosley was able to neutralize him and stop him, and Ortiz has more power than Mosley.

he didn't even KO berto with a suspect chin, how much more a granite one in margarito?

 

We saw Margo break Cintron down, a guy much bigger and possibly harder hitter than Ortiz. We saw him break Cotto down, a guy much more experienced and sturdier. We've seen Margo take everything Pac had.

Margarito loses a few rounds then stops Ortiz 8-9.

 

All this from knocking down Berto?

Have you seen Berto's prior fights? He was holding on to Collazo for dear life in ROUND 1, Collazo who has 16KO record. Rivera also dropped him and Berto was saved by the bell.

Always said let Ortiz beat a "proven" fighter. Dont care if he's old, at least hes proven so we know where he stand. Beating an overhyped guy doesnt really say much.

 

Ortiz would win this. Margarito of 2007 is a different story...truth is, Margarito hasn't been a good fighter for a few years now.

ortiz cant handle pressure, maidana isn't a pressure fighter but he was able to stay on ortiz and make him fold.

 

margo is criminally underrated here because of the hate.

the way some talk about him here you'd think he is a friday night fighter.

 

Marg that fought Pac was still a monster, that bad night against Shane didn't change the fighter he still was. Marg is bigger, physically stronger, throws more punches, has a better chin, great endurance, cuts off the ring better, and applies better pressure. Marg has never shown a weak heart, Ortiz has quit before ala Cintron....

 

Margarito stops him even at this stage, styles makes fights.

 

I am not worried about his heart, I am more worried of his chin at this point. He is just too hittable at this point of his development.

He needs to work on the defense (head and foot movement) to reduce the beating he gets.

Margo vs Ortiz sounds like a great fight. As much as I like Ortiz, I find it hard to believe that he would be able to survive under Margo's constant pressure. Although, it would really be a true test of Margo's chin to try and walk through Ortiz's fire in order to push him the way that he would have to in order to win.

 

oh get the **** otta here.. Over hyped berto atsch Now all of a sudden Margarito is the unstoppable juggernaut because he fought pac with a broken orbital. did you forget Shane stopped Margarito with in the distance.

Pac last three fights were against fighters that had been stopped with in the distance or loss more then one fight.. Also out of the three fights, weight stipulation were enforced. Yet you try and down grade Ortiz !!!??? Get the **** otta here..
