    Why is that ignorant. I do know a vast amount of people will still end up paying. However consumer soveriety allows us to choose how we spend our money. For me out of principal this is not the fight I want to see Mayweather make so I wont pay for it. I will however watch for free given the opportunity. The ironic thing is right now I think Floyd beats Manny but we will never know.

  2. Damn right, and look at how he announced it;

    "Floyd Mayweather, Jr
    MY FANS HAVE BEEN WAITING LONG ENOUGH. Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz. Sept-17 2011 for the WBC World Championship."

    Yeah thanks for being so kind to the fans Mayweather. What a guy!

    Mayweather - Ortiz is a decent fight. I can't see to many boycotting this fight, Ortiz is a LIVE opponent.

    I'm buying this fight because Floyd isn't fighting against some shot, no reflex having, over the hill past his prime fighter. People have been getting ripped off when order Pacquiao's last fights.

    I don't feel ripped off when ordering Floyd fights because he fights against live, top pound for pound opponents. This is a good challenge for Floyd Mayweather because he's fighting the champion of the WW division.

    I agree... I think the numbers will outsell pac vs marquez. Not saying it's a better fight, just thinking it's marketability is better.

    It's probably the best fight we could hope for at this moment. Floyd ain't fighting anyone bigger than him, so of what's left, (Ortiz, Bradley) this is probably the best option.

    After their fights in the fall, (Floyd-Ortiz, Pacquiao-Marquez) I won't be buying either of their fights until they fight each other.
