    I mean look at the front page right now.

    i wish mayweather would just retire
    I hope no one buys Floyds vs Ortiz PPV
    Now Ortiz suddenly becomes a legit THREAT...

    pathetic.

    You lot act like butthurt school girls who cant look past your hatred.
    Like him or hate him, floyd mayweather returning is GOOD for boxing. Why? coz hes a masssive draw. Why? coz hes flat out one of the best fighters out there. Why? coz love him or hate him hes a CHARACTER.

    Also its more likely a pac/floyd fight happens with mayweather actually being active, as opposed to when he is ''retired'' sitting on his ass waiting for his ''urge'' to return.

    As for Ortiz. Is this an easy fight for floyd? Yes it probably is. But who would you rather he fight at welterweight except manny? Margarito? completely shot. Cotto? hes at 154 now. Who else is left? And dont tell me Bradley, coz i dont see pacquiao fighting him either. Bradley is a nobody right now and a little ***** running from khan.

    I am not a floyd fan. trust me on that. But for the good of boxing its excellent news hes back. and y'all need to look past your hate and accept that. Floyd vs Ortiz is a good fight. Mayweather will most likely wipe the floor with him. But Ortiz is a young fighter coming off a career win. Thats better than when he fought an overblown Marquez. Or when he fought a shot Mosley. Lets not forget also hes coming off a long break (of his own doing), so a fight with ortiz first thing back is credible enough for me.

    Lets just hope he accepts the pac fight after.

    but seriously allow the hate. This is good news.

    i fully understand the floyd hate. hes asking for it.

    but i dont get the hate towards this fight. I mean surely its a good thing hes back?

    I have no problem with the fight, even though I'm not Floyd's biggest fan. To me it's like "who cares?"

    If Floyd wants to fight, let him fight.

    There are a lot of people who seem to feel this same way.

    On the other hand, Mayweather can fight if he wants to fight. I'm not stopping him, and I'm not going to hate on him for trying to make some more coin and stay in the game.

    Did people expect him to come off his long layoff and fight Pac immediately? Nevermind of course they did... Biggest fight around possible and people want him to take it in over a year layoff. Complain if he retires again right after the fight. Be happy for the moment!!

    The chicken gayweather doesn't want to fight Pac. Until Pac gets in a car accident and gets cripped or something, that's not changing.

    agree. but as far as tune ups go its a very decent one!

    lets hope its a tune up for floyd vs pac
