    Right, exactly.

This (suing for defamation) is the standard operating procedure on these matters. Which is why Hopkins may go the same route, despite having beaten Pascal in the ring.

Now I know your full of ****, We did not hear any claims of Manny being effected by Bloodwork from that fight going in or after the fight, we did not hear that unitl recently all we heard were distractions, and Winning gloves.

nobody brought up any type of blood being drawn from Manny so how is it that Mayweather knew about that when the entire rest of the world did not know cus it was not disclosed until after the fight negotiations fell apart.

Explain that **** before you go on spamming the forum with your Paclies...

Normally I don't get involved with threads like these because Floyd fans gonna say one thing Pac fans gonna say another but it's just crazy to me.

I can't believe boxing fans give Floyd all this ****, you would think he's asking Pacquiao to fight with his legs tied together or something.

Mayweather says take the test we have a fight over and over and over. Just sign the damn thing saying you will take the tests put it out there and make Floyd look foolish if he doesn't fight. It's really not that difficult at all.

    Relax, champ.

Here's how it works: If I've passed 55 PED/drug tests and you say I'm a PED user, I have solid grounds to sue you for defamation. Why? Because what you are saying goes against the available facts.

Now, you don't get to say "well, but you didn't take THIS test." That's not relevant. The point is that I did tests for steroids and other PEDs and nothing showed up positive. The facts are on my side. Speculation is all you have, and that is ok, as long as you say things like "Well, I think he may be using stuff that can't be detected." That's an opinion, not a statement of fact.

However, if you repeatedly come out and say I am, as a fact, taking power pellets and whatever PEDs you think I'm using, you have a problem, because the mountain of evidence -- the tests -- says you're wrong. And that means I have a case, and you can get hit with, and possibly lose, a defamation suit.

Law usually relies on facts and evidence, not speculation. If you say I'm a PED user, and I have a stack of stuff that says I'm not a PED user, you're in trouble in such a case.

And here we are, with Mayweather and Pacquiao.

I have read your opinion time and time again, Now please answer the last question I asked you, Provide a source that indicates (From just after the Morales fight) ahh **** it put out a source that is before negotiations even took place that support your arguement that Manny was effected by blood work from the Morales fight...

its time to put up or shut up kid.

And what happened with McGwire again? Oh yeah: He admitted to taking steroids.

Now you know why he didn't (and couldn't) sue for defamation. :good

It's on sporting life for a reason.

It's written by an idiot, who can't get a job anywhere

Pacquiao fans need to chill out.

Some people think Mayweathers an idiot. Somepeople think Mannys an idiot

    It's not war.

I get sick of being forced to read, obscure articles, for petty point scoring.

What I'm saying is, nobody watches around the horn, and maybe 5'000 people world wide will bother reading this.

    It's hardly worth the effort

Seriously. Why do you bother reposting shopddy articles, and links to obscure shows

Is it just to try and annoy people?

I could show you numerous articles, interviews, about Pacquiao, and his refusal to take drug tests.

I don't bother, as I 3'000 people, seeing something annoying isn't going to change anyones opinion on anything

Pacquiao is the source. I'm not sure what you're asking here.

Pacquiao is known to be superstitious. It's like a baseball player: If you think rubbing your bat a certain way helps you get hits, you rub your bat.

Again, this seems to be why Mayweather went after this angle: He knows Manny has a mental issue with testing. So, you play on that.

The way you resolve such a thing in a negotiation is you give the superstitious guy a few days to get over the mental issue with the tests, but you still test. That's why you have a cut off date. And that was apparently ok with Team Mayweather except for one person. Hence, apparently, no fight.

You know you should have more respect for the boxing commmunity

Genuine fans don't go on these sites, as they don't want to read crappy, inflammatory articles, designed to upset people.

They don't need you re-posting them on a quality site, to try and **** people off
