Did M. Jones stopped taking steroids? Yes or no ? If Floyd really serious about cleaning the sport, He should ask for all year round testing even the boxer is not fighting.:deal
I could not disagree with this more strongly. Manny is proven to be clean, is now a Philippines congressman and a world-wide icon. Mayweather may sway a few souls, but Pacquiao's reputation is only growing from here. Including as a fighter. Pacquiao does not need Mayweather, or Mayweather's tests, for any aspect of his reputation or legitimacy. Which is good, because the two seem highly unlikely to meet in the ring.
One of the things I have written about here on ESB is that, if Floyd is serious about cleaning up the sport, why didn't he urge Hopkins to "take the tests" in the Pascal fight? That would have been a chance to make Mayweather look consistent about caring for the entire sport, and not just his own bouts.
i have seen absolutely no evidence to suggest your figures are anywhere close to accurate. i talk boxing to people of all backgrounds, and only one guy ive talked to actually thought pac was on peds and floyd actually wants to fight him. all the media outlets and most message boards are under the assumption that floyd is avoiding pac. there is a very small but very vocal minority that still believes that pac is the one to blame. this is the same group that argued for years that floyds goat standing was higher than pacs. remember that? they finally gave up that argument when they realized that the rest of the world wasnt buying it. the same thing will happen to their current argument.
Floyd knows Pac is better than him. For him, that's impossible because he believes he is the best. Floyd thinks something is not right. The problem is, you need an evidence to prove that there is "something". For example: You are stupid. <--that's valid. Because I have a proof. (-see above quotes from you)
The Morales thing is a classic example, of what a lot of really bad excuses Manny made to get out of the fight. American fans, pardon me for saying this, are a big ignorant on drug testing. Combined with Manny being popular, and a big media person, he gets away with it. If it was in another sport, in Euroe, he'd get slaughtered in the media over some of the things he's claimed As an example, Manny did medical drug tests for Morales. Which involves taking huge amounts of blood. They need 3 syringe fulls to do medical tests. You're talking 300-400ML Your average drug test is 15ml.It's purtposefully so low, so cheats can't make excuses on medical grounds Manny and his team have tried to mislead people, by compaing a medical test, to adrug test. They're completely different As I said, he gets away with it, as he's popular, the media love him, and Americans dont care a great deal about drug testing. I'm sure, in a more educated sport, he'd be cast as apretty obvious suspected steropid user
Testing differs from sport to sport. Athletes compete all year around, and hence, they have to be tested all year around In seasonal sports, they are tested seasonally, as the benefits of steroid use aren't thought to last that long The USADA design their tests for boxing, to just stop people's performance being enhanced. They work out what people could do, and whether it could help them Basically, they're not going to waste their time trying to stop Manny doing something in Janurary, when the benefit in November willl be a 0.5% perfomance enhance
Floyd lost this fight a long time ago, he's got his hand full of faithful fans who will defend him to the end, but in 98 % of the sports world he's ducking pacquiao, period. I hope the boxing commission of nevada looks at the issue and maybe change the way they test everyone so both sides can be appeased. Floyd will get his extra special "testing" while manny won't have to give in to the demands of a guy ranked below him who just happens to be on a crusade to tarnish his good name. Frankly if pac came out and told floyd to stick his extra testing up his ass, i don't know too many people who would have a problem with it. Pacquiao has been tested hundreds if not thousands of times and never failed once. It's not like he needs floyd to secure his status as an atg, his resume speaks for it's self. I know if I had some load mouth talking **** to me and making crazy demands, I'd tell him to go **** himself, especially if I was the top dog of then entire sport.
Come on. Fans just come up with their own theories. You thinking Floyd did it to ruin the fight, is no different than people thinking Manny pulled out as he was on steroids............ All I'm saying is Manny taking the decision to pull out of the fight, over drug testing, was his decision. He didn't have to. And that decision isn't based on Mayweathers feelings. It's his own that made the decision
You are not going to find any such proof I dont care where you look there is no proof of Manny saying that until after he had already turned down the fight with Floyd. Manny never once stated anything about Blood work regarding Morales, so your story about Floyd using this as mental warfare is just that, a ****ing story its not the truth. Now if should miraculously come up with a legit source, I will own up to my **** like a man, but the reality is, your not going to find **** cus those were not the reasons manny gave us after he lost to EM.
Come on, this is false Manny was universally loved, and nobody thought he was a cheat when he was at 130 Now he has as many haters as Mayweather, and lots of people are suspicious of him, over the drug testing The actual truth is Manny has stated he will do the tests, and he has no problem with them. Which removes his initial excuse that he can't physically do them. He can. He's admitted he can. He can't say that any more. So we have a situation, where Manny goes into negotiations and has no choice but to accept all Mayweathers demands on drug testing If Manny went into a 3rd negotiation, and was still refusing to do full random testing, his reputation would be in tatters As it would become apparent that the only thing stopping it, is Manny not wanting to do drug tests
You said pro boxing. Not me The USADA administer amateur boxing testing. And have advised Mayweather on the subject
