I wouldn't know why they aren't in HD but it's lame. They should sort that out. Although I'm sure costs are involved these same fights are being shown in the US in HD so it can't be that bad surely.

I like to watch the boxing, £15 ain't a lot. Go to a bar and see how far that £15 gets you. Or just be grateful that in a world where boxing is slowly disappearing that it's on at all.

If Premier do not attract a threshold of subscribers and keep them then they will go bust very fast. A PPV model will secure events on case by case basis. Signing contracts with promoters makes sense if they have PPV fighters that will appeal to a British market. So, who is available?

Primetime have exactly the right model. Make a bit of money here and there on one-off events. No point investing in growing the sport because Sky will always cherry pick the biggest Sky already have most of the domestic level talent locked up and what's left won't draw.

 

Im not paying for this fight , Both Froch and Kell Brook have stated that PPV is not good for boxing or its fans.

 

I have huge doubts that sky offered him a PPV slot. haye vs klitschko is only 3 weeks before and on sky box office. I couldn't see sky having two ppv events so close to each other.
