Why did you delete it? I really was looking forward to it dude Also if you don't mind me asking how much did you get for these 3 fights? Few hundred pounds?
R U a natural southpaw? Your left looks crisp and well timed, but your R is arched and telegraphed. Far be it for me to criticize..... your moving along great. Just making an observation your trainer is obviously working on with you. Keep it up. Maybe ol Teddy will be critiquing you in about 5 months or so on FNFs.:good
No mate an orthodox but keeping the right hand straight and down the pipe is one of the things ive been working on in the gym for my next fight, its fine when fighting taller opponents but when i'm punching down to shorter guys i dont seem to shoot it straight :bbb
sorry, the video just wasnt playing on my iphone and i thought you might have removed it :good you looked pretty good in there, you have a good jab. Only thing i could say is that after you had trouble landing the right hand you maybe could have gone to the body with a few lefts, he was wide open for it a few times. Much improved buddy, good stuff!
I got offered one for 2 days ago at very late notice against a guy i beat 2 years ago as an amatuer, i fancied it but the guy was like 15 pounds heavier i decided not to take it. I've got nothing to prove against him having already beat him and giving away 15 pounds in weight is just silly at this stage. On another note i could have been fighting this saturday against a guy i wont say but my promoter & his promoter spoke and his promoter didnt want me fighting him in a meaningless eight rounder because he is a great ticket seller and he didnt like the chance of him getting beat, so thats a fight that could maybe happen next year for a national title if i stay undefeated :good but to answer your question i may fight in July probally against another undefeated prospect, then again in September.
Well you look lenky so git er done. That str8 R will be your best weapon. I'm sure your working on rolling the shoulder over while firing it right?
Thank you mate ill get the other rounds on i had alot better rounds than that, that was the main problem i had in that fight i couldnt land clean right hands on him. To give him credit he was sneakily great defense wise he would roll with the shots to take the sting out of them, crouch down out of range or stay in his shell. Very Experienced Veteran. Its something i need to take with me into the gym because when my right hands on form theirs alot of power in it and it hurts my opponents :hat:hat
who do you model yourself on as a fighter? tommy hearns would be a good choice with your build if you can really get some snap in that right hand after the jab you could start to see some KOs on your resume :hey
Tommy Hearns mate, my boxing idol and its not even close. I need to work on getting leverage on that right hand and keeping it straight and theirs no doubt i will start seeing some ko's. I've been in with some cagey vets so far but i cant wait to notch up that first ko
Good to hear you are being active, would be funny to look back on all these threads in a few years if you become bigger in the sport, GL man
Thank you mate and i've been fairly active 3-0 in my first 5 months as a professional Couldnt have hoped for better
