one loss. These fighters need time to hone their craft, and many fans write them off, and to me its kind of disrespectful to even read in a post that a guy is overrated. Ortiz, Berto, J.M.L, Dawson, Abraham, Paul Williams, Pavlik, Glen Johnson...the list goes on. Don't be so quick to judge fighters whether its a decision loss or brutal ko. The above names all won world titles.

These fighters know the danger of losing walking into that square ring and your quick judgement of these fighters after a loss isn't respected by me or true boxing fans. I'm not the judge or jury of fans and their opinion, but these fighters decided to make boxing their careers, and your blatant disrespect isn't welcome...criticism is.

    Just busting your balls.

Some boxers are written off after by a bad loss and it's proven to be justified. Some are able to overcome it and actually become better for it.

    Every situation is unique.

Fighters always seem to get judged on that last 1/2 fights, look how well others came back in history after a loss, ali, louis, leonard, hearns, duran, hagler, hopkins, pac, wlad, khan etc. a loss doesnt ruin a guy perse, but not everyone bounces back well either. I think all the guys you mentioned can fight back to the top.

Lol, its ok. You're right. Losses will happen. Fighters are prepared for this, not for a fans disrespect and non understanding of how fighters deal with a loss through a sorry ass, vicious opinion.

I agree. If you look at fighters from years ago, they lost many times and showed that they could come back as well as be better than ever. Fans actually make boxing worse at times by writing a fighter off so quickly. The fighter loses confidence and quite possibly does get worse and the fighters dont take risks for fear of losing their "0" which results in fans not getting the fights they want to see.
People need to stop writing fighters off after a loss rather by decision or stoppage.

Hatton's 2 losses are from the 2 best guys in his generation. Now, people say he is overrated and some say he has a glass jaw. I'll still give Hatton a good chance against the top juniorwelters today if he didn't retire.

khan is proof. One thing I do criticize fighters about is giving guys rematches. Khan should rematch Prescott. I thought Cunningham should've gotten a rematch with Adamek as he should've gotten one with Dawson. I detest fighters who don't give rematches the fans want to see. It's rare, but I hate that.

Exactly. Hatton imo couldn't deal with the criticism after his losses or tbe losing and he had nothing to be ashamed of, but at least many fans like you and myself recognize that he lost to the two best fighters on earth right now

You can't protect your 0 in the ring. you can only protect yourself.
