he doesn't throw as much (big shots) as he used to and he looks slow with both hands and feet. i've grown on him the past few years and he's been impressive, but i think it's time to call it quits. he won't be able to keep up with the young guys and will get dominated by a fast, smart boxer.
Closer to it than not, About 2 or 3 fights away from total "Shotness". (Which would put that around late 2012 early 2013, IF he sticks around)
I think he is past prime as well he looks to be getting slower in the leggs since the cotto fight, they said it was his best camp since cotto but it didnt show vs mosley, even if it was his leg and mosley running he looked slower. If he beat marquez and retired I wouldnt mind, however he isnt shot he still has plenty left to beat everyone convincingly between 140-154 besides mayweather and martinez hwo are tough fights.
Yeah pacs style isnt one for longetivity he is 32 now and seems to be slowing down now, realistically somewhere around 34 he should be shot, you can never know for sure though, but if he retired in 2012 or 2013 it would probably be smarter if he slowed down, I dont want to see him take beatdowns from limited fighters.
only 2 fights left even worth it for him to continue. JMM3 and then Floyd. If the Floyd fight don't happen then call it a career and run for president.
if u ask me, hes been taking it easy fighting easy fights. he aint shot, hes perserved his career fighting easier opponents
