Ohhh man, now I hope this fight eventually gets made. Ortiz dominates Margarito. Margarito is too slow, Ortiz better skills, stronger, better, faster. Ortiz by wide decision. Margarito takes the championship rounds, in a one sided fight.

No he isn't and people are still living in the past. That Maidana fight was 2 years ago now, and yea he was dropped by Berto. A strong, fast welterweight. How is that a negative? Like B-Hop said, it's not what happen, it's what happens next, and Ortiz 30 seconds later dropped Berto and dominated the fight. A fight most people thought Berto would win, knock out Ortiz, and make him quit.

I hope this fight does happen and I hope the odds reflect what is shown here, because I will go rich overnight. No way, Ortiz loses to Margarito. Ortiz dominates Margarito. Then all the morons that picked Margarito will discredit Ortiz and say that "Margarito was shot" and or "Pacquiao ruined him," nobody would own up to it, like I would if somehow walking punchbag actually beat Ortiz.

 

Based on what exactly? When was the last time any version of margo fought an opponent as good as ortiz or berto?

I'll take Ortiz over Margs. Far as I'm concerned, we don't even know Margs true punching power since the whole plaster incident. Who knows how long he was doing that nonsense. Definitely has a hell of a chin though and that cant be taken away from him. Still, he would be Ortiz's punching bag. Too slow.
