Firstly, there is no SKY rule against two box office events in one month. You are repeating nonsense.

SBO did not make an offer for this to be on PPV because it wouldn't do well. It's on at 4.30am.. along with all the other reasons mentioned in this thread.
If it would do well, they would of made an offer. It's quite simple. In this financial climate the only 4.30am's that will happen would be if a British fighter fought in a super fight.

 

What a weak argument that is. It's 2011 and HD is pretty much standard these days. You expect to watch top class sport, movies, entertainment in HD for the money we spend. Its just your channel is stuck in some technological timewarp where u seem to think just showing an event live is good enough. Klitchko v Haye, why bother with HD we are getting it live so everyone should be happy. What planet do u live on?

The fact its PPV and still no HD makes it even worse.

 

HD is even more important for pay per view. The only reason I buy SBO is for the HD quality compared to a stream

 

HD means jack to me.

Let's not forget everybody pays Sky extra for HD Package.

PT don't have that option.

Unless everybosy is advocating them whacking the PPV up by a few quid.

Says who? I know hardly anyone who actually has a HD subscription with Sky or watches HD TV...

Neccessity should be the mother of invention, not gimmicks designed to make guillible consumers wet their knickers...

 

Im sure Khan would be willing to stump up a few quid for his loyal fans so the fight could be on HD.....
