Yeah the margarito that cut through cintron and cotto was a fukin monster.

3 years later he's a slow, feather fisted, past prime punching bag.

Gotta respect the man for the quality of fighters he's faced the past 5 years. But it's hard respecting him knowing what we know about the attempted plaster casts.

I'd like cotto and martinez to avenge their losses to him.

As long as no plaster is involved, I don't know who wins. Kidding.

Well pfp Maidana might hit harder but thats not what were tallking here, a.... Im pretty sure a Jm and even a WW Margarito.. The power is different as Maidana might still have the edge for one punch (maybe:think) But as far as punishing shots,, Im sure Magos do more damage.

Margarito is a shot fighter. People really need to accept this.

He's shot when he looks shot consistently. He hasn't yet. What you and others are doing is just assuming he's shot.

    Ok, let's see here:

Was Ko'ed by Shane Mosley in Jan 2009.

Looked pedestrian against a no hoper in Robert Garcia in May 2010, after a 1.5 year suspension when he was caught trying to cheat against Mosley.

Was beaten beyond recognition by Manny Pac, in a fight where he did not win a single rd, and sustained such a brutal beating and injury, that he may not even be able to fight again.

He hasnt looked good in a fight in over 3 years, and even in that fight, he took an unholy amount of punishment.

Inactivity + cheating scandal + 2 violent, awful beatings -Plaster wraps - speed - defense = a fighter who should hang them up.

There's no 'formula' that says a guy is shot. As i said, guys are shot when they look shot consistently. Look at how many times Shane was said to be shot prior to Margarito.

We don't get to determine who's shot until the fighter exhibits traits of a shot fighter consistently. You're just giving your opinion. And that's fine, but it is, only just your opinion. Besides, despite losing to manny, Margarito did not fight like a shot fighter. Just against a guy what is much better.

Myself? I prefer to wait and see how the fighter fights.

    Yes there is a formula

if mayweather beats them, they're shot (Mosley)

Shane never took a beating like Margo did, nor was he ever Ko'ed.

If a fighter has not won a rd against elite comp in 3 years and sustains vicious punishment in two completely one sided bloodbaths, gets a career threatening injury, and is basically now just a name for other fighter's on thier resume, he is shot.

The fact is he has shown nothing since being caught cheating, and his record reflects this. He's a human punching bag.

No big surprise here ... The *****s say Ortiz bests Marg but the vast majority of people aren't that dumb and say Marg.

*****S are not boxing fans .. They are fanboys who only support views that coincide with their own racially motivated biases.
