low output isnt a negative for Floyd because he hits his opponent w/ 9-10 shots thrown he's very accurate....questionable chin? really....robotic? I dont see it, he doesnt get hit too often because of his movement...& cagey? probably

I have to add, a lot of what people claim are weaknesses is the reason he doesn't lose

Being able to land 60% of 450 shots thrown every fight, is what defines him. It's a huge strength

Not throwing many shots, makes him very hard to hit. He's never open.

Manny throwing 1200 shots a fight, and landing 25% of them is more exciting to watch, but it also makes him a heck of a lot more beatable.

Floyd's major strength, is he doesn't waste shots. He's so accurate, that pretty much everything he throws is either going to hit you, or make you pull your gloves up

Meaning opponents are rarely in any position to attack him

As for weaknesses, I'd only really say his age, his hands, and his slow starts.

He starts slow for a reason (to work his opponent out, and adjust)

But it's no good starting slow, if the fight ends in round 2. As in, he takes the big shot

As a Mayweather fan I'd list the following:

    1. Sometimes let's his opponent be first, in order to counter giving away the initative
    2. Backs up in straight lines when jabbed at (combine with point and it sees him on the ropes)
    3. Sometimes wait's for opponents to stop punching (combined with 1 and 2, it can see him on the ropes, rolling with the punches and taking a break losing the round)
    4. Works in spurts at times
    5. Drops his hands to set traps, which occasionally leaves him vunerable to fast big punches (Mosley/Corley)
    6. Doesn't set up attacks too well when an opponent isn't giving countering opportunities (ie being defensive)

No more weakness in the ring. He and Ellerbe just parted ways.

The thing about Floyd is that he only has weaknesses compared to the perfect fighter.

What he brings to the table is usually more than enough to beat the rest of the competition. If (and when IMO) he beats Pacquiao, there will be some other fighter on the scene that will be the supposed man to dethrone him.

when floyd throws his right hand specifically the slip counter he leaves himself wide open for a second or but youd have to posses insane speed to catch him flush while blocking the punch
and so far thats the only flaw i've seen in floyd's game that and having a hard time w southpaws

Floyd has no real weaknesses. You used to be able to crowd him, not anymore. Age is his weakness now possibly. At times he's susceptible to big overhand lefts and rights, but he's shown a very strong chin coming up in weight. They way to fight Floyd is to match him in hand speed and be bigger, and push him around the ring. Nobody is out there like that.

Low output isn't a weakness when his style forces his opponent to lower their output too and it becomes a chess match.

If they both throw 400-500 punches and Mayweather lands 40-55% to 15-20% for his opponent, it's a clinic and that's what we have been seeing recently. Until someone is able to exploit it than how can we say it's a weakness?

Brittle hands are his only major weakness IMO. Average punching power and above average chin are not weaknesses. hahaha

I wish he went for the knockout more though. IMO he could have taken out both Marquez and Mosley if he really went for it.
