Carl Froch is a horrible pressure fighter. He cant fight off the front foot

He's more of an unorthodox backfoot fighter these days, he like to jab and slip and lunge I have no idea how he gets away with it but he does.

He's wide open to that right hand but his chin is solid enough to take the shots.

Froch doesn't mind a good tear up but he always admits when that happens he has abandoned his game plan.

His power has definitely been exposed at the top level. He can hurt but aint taking anyone out with one shot.

Dirrel lost to Froch because he was running and holding.

That is your primary reason for your hate against Froch and "Brits".

And to be honest, I think there are PLENTY of Americans that like Froch and people that believe Dirrel could of and should of done more to win that fight. But if you REALLY think only people from UK like UK fighters and if people from the USA are the only people that like USA fighters then you really are an utter ****ing idiot.

HOWEVER, I do know what OP is getting at. Because Froch is a hard ******* people seem to create this idea of him as some Mexican-esque brawler who batters his opponents, which really isn't the case. He tends to stalk his opponents in the late rounds and fights using his reach and doesn't do well on the inside.

After reading MW's thread,i decided to deal with this argument scientifically.I consulted the head of Biology,and the head of Physics at the school my wife teache's .

Froch has marginally longer arms than your average 6'1 man.

I was under the impression everybodys wingspan was greater than their height in inches (normally by 2 or so)?

I'm 6'0/1 and have 75'' reach

Look at any boxers, normally their reach will be a few inches over their height
