Pac is now a full fledged welterweight if he wasn't he woulda fought Marquez at a catchweight between 135-140 or 140 at the very most since his team is claiming that he's a natural JWW.... And if he's not a natural WW and he actually is a natural JWW then he's purposely putting Marquez at a disadvantage by making him come up to a weight he's proven to be useless at despite Pac supposedly being able to make 140...... There's no middle ground....either he's a natural welter or he's cheating Marquez. Regardless of which one is true we all know that Marquez is useless above 135 as evidenced by him not even winning a round vs Mayweather. If people were calling that a mismatch then this 3rd Pac fight is an even bigger mismatch since it's the same blown up Marquez but with 2 more years of wear and tear.

I literally give Marquez less than 5 percent chance of the upset, this is a ridiculous mismatch and anyone saying different better not have called Mayweather vs Marquez a mismatch since it was 2 years earlier and after coming off a 2 year layoff for Mayweather. This fight is garbage.

they are doing it at 144 so its still considered a WW fight and still maintain a heavy advantage for Pac. But in my opinion a catchweight of 141 would've been perfect.

if anybody argues he has a chance based off of their last two fights years and years back, Then perhaps Pac fans should stop calling on a Mayweather fight.
Floyd clearly won every single second of his fight with Marquez, and if Pacquiao can not perform on that level against even a shot, blown up Marquez he has no business being in there with Floyd Mayweather.

As much as love the Pac-man and his lightning -like combos and very entertaining fighting style, I have to agree.
There“s not much of a chance for JMM at this weight and at this moment. The fight could be categorized as a mis-match

Manny will probably become the first to KO Marquez...

I give him a 20% chance of pulling the upset...

Pac will win but it will have nothing to do with the weight. JMM comes into his fights weighing around 144-145 anyways. He was 145lbs on fight night vs Katsidis. Pac will be around 146. Where is the weight disadvantage here?

For like the millionth ****ing time, it won't be a blown-up JMM vs a WW Pac. Fight night weights - which are very relevant to this issue - will be more or less the same when they fought last time:

    Pac - 145
    JMM - 141

Against Katsidis and Margarito, they were:

    Pac - 148
    JMM - 145

This 144 catchweight provides for a fight where none of the two will be restricting themselves to a weight limit. It allows them go off and train to their peak condition.

Question for Pac fans, Would it be a good fight if Marquez and Floyd rematched? if not explain why? I can always argue he gave Manny two great fights.....

yeah i can see that, as far as ring IQ Marquez has Manny beat. i just think the current version of Manny is better than the one that face Marquez years ago and Marquez is aging which won't help him...

    What a stupid question.

It's already been proven that JMM doesn't belong in the ring with Floyd.

With Pacquiao, however, he's fighting a guy who's more suited to his style, and is quite simply not as good as Mayweather; therefore it will always be more competitive.

So then if he doesnt belong in the ring with Floyd, Why does he belong in there with Manny?
I mean if Manny is supposed to be better than Floyd, what kind of sense does that make?
