Cmon now. How many times have we seen fighter A beat Fighter B, then lose to fighter C who fighter B has already beaten.

By your logic, Floyd doesnt belong in the ring with Pac since Pac blew out Hatton in 2 rounds, made Oscar quit on his stool, and had Mosley running for his life after dropping him.

JMM has about the same chance Ortiz has against Floyd that Juan has against Manny. But I'll be watching BOTH fights. The sooner Floyd and PAC get the job done against their "tune ups" the sooner we can begin making PAC vs Floyd....FINALLY!

I am just saying how can you argue in favor of this fight for Pacquiao, claiming its going to be a good fight, Yet not the same for Mayweather?
I mean if pacquiao is that much better than Floyd as the *******s think, why wouldnt it be?
I know that logic is flawed, but its not mine, they are the ones stating Marquez Pacquiao makes sense when in reality it does not, it shouldnt, cus if its anything like the last two fights, Pacquiao doesnt belong in the ring with Mayweather.

pacquiao will never get credit for this fight, if he wins easy marquez never belonged if he struggles it means mayweather will most likely give him hell as well, depending on how floyd looked vs ortiz a few months earlier.

They are basing it off of their first 2 competitive fights. JMM was 141lbs on fight night while Pac was 145. Did they consider JMM blown up back then? JMM can still come in at 141. Nobody is making him weigh in at 144. Pac will only be a few lbs heavier than him on fight night. Its not as if Pac balloons up in weight like every other WW in the division. Pac will be at or around 146 come fight time.

Personally i'm not interested in this fight. It's a been there done that fight. I'd prefer Pac take on someone like Bradley.

"Styles make fights." If not, and we go by your logic, then Floyd should have at least KO's Hatton well before the end of round 2 of his fight.

Exactly this fight doesnt make sense for him, Now with Mayweather fighting Ortiz, I think a fight with Bradley style wise would make more sense. no matter how this turns out, Manny is not getting any credit your right, and it will be worse if the fight is close... imagine the forums after the fight if its another close fight..:-(
I agree Bradley wouldnt be a bad selection, and your right they are saying becuase Marquez gave two good fights but that was years ago and at a lower weight, this fight makes Zero sense...

Your right styles make fights, but at this stage like I said before Marquez no longer makes any sense, not after we saw him in his last fight, and then we have the mayweather fight as well.
    it just doesnt make sense..

    Are you being serious?

I'm pretty sure you were one of the many people here that was demanding Pacquiao to fight JMM a few months back.

it makes sense for marquez though, if you look at it from his perspective he gets the shot at 4th division and ultimate revenge on pac while cashing in big, I think pacquiao will win but im kind of happy that marquez at leats gets a well deserved chance, it gives us a feeling of closure, atleast for me it does. tim bradley should fight khan while pac should fight the mayweather/ortiz winner that makes the most sense, if its not possible again then take on bradley, after marquez there are no big money names left except cotto 2 maybe, but I think cotto will be looking up rather then down.

I disagree. I think it makes perfect sense as a tune-up for a fight with a great counterpuncher. Just like Ortiz makes sense to me as an opponent for Floyd. Both fights will entertain, and both fights will likely end as expected.
