after all the hate I gave Floyd the past couple days I think finaly Floyd fights someone who is young and big. victor/floyd height 5'9/5'8 reach 70/72 weight equal age 24/34 so vic is 10 years younger, taller than and as big as floyd physicly. Strength wise also equaly. so the ortiz choice wasnt that bad from floyd, also victor wont handle what floyd brings too the table. but if ortiz comes in perfect shape and presses the action and throws a huge amount of punches "calzaghe style" than at least he could win some rounds and make it competitive at times. this time no excuses, because at 24 ortiz should habe the full amount of condition he needs too do so, and if not in his prime, ortiz is sure not so far away from it.
look at all these anally hurt pacfags being jealous because another fighter is willing to do what their fighter isn't, fight someone coming off a decent win. DOn't worry too much. Ortiz will become a Mayweather left over within a few months, and we all know this will make him more appetizing for emmanuel. and it would still be an easy fight and money. floyd then fights again next year to find another opponent he can beat easily. a never ending cycle of floyd not fighting the very best and fooling his fans that it is ok to fight guys that are lesser threats.
was mosley 24 and had he a condition of a 24 year old. a young mosley vs floyd would have been a completly different story.
why....at least victor is taller than minis like hatton and marquez and for a long time every floyd hater always said he wasnt facing guys as big as him. than he faced mosley and mosley after the loss looked way out of his prime, just old.
Victor is big, strong, powerful, fast, he's coming off a big win, he's highly rated at WW, and he's the WBC champ. This is a good fight, especially considering Mayweather is coming off a 16 month layoff. Look at the bum that Kessler fought coming off a 14 month layoff. I think most people who really follow the sport know that this is a good fight. Most of the people complaining are Pac fans and/or people who dislike Mayweather.
