Ortiz just beat Berto in a brutally and exciting match. He's big, strong, southpaw, and aggressive at Welterweight. That's exactly the type of style that people want to see against Floyd Mayweather.

There are only two fights out there that the world would be pleased with (vs Pac/Martinez). But do you expect Floyd to take one of those fights coming off of a layoff? This is a legit fight, and if you're trying to downplay it you're only really discrediting your reputation as a boxing fan. Have you heard any boxer, analyst, or trainer discredit the fight yet? I haven't. The only people I see discrediting the fight are people who for some reason can't stand the fact that Floyd Mayweather is fighting a legit opponent in September. Finally a PPV worth buying, imo.

its crazy...a good fight is a good fight....there going out there way to discredit the fights because they aren't fighting each other but that's irrelevant...they still are going on to fight good fighters and give BOXING FANS good fights which we have been dying for.
