    “I think he does(a chance to win)..He’s a big, strong kid. He’s fighting a guy who hasn’t fought in a year and a half. I think he has a real shot. The southpaw stance could give [Mayweather] trouble.”

    Roach also had advice for Ortiz.

    “Don’t walk in with no caution,..He’s a good counter puncher. Don’t fall into that trap like Ricky Hatton did. Don’t be overconfident. He will actually give you confidence to bait you in. He’s that smart.”

    “I hope Victor wins the fight. If he doesn’t, it will give me a lot better blueprint of how to fight his guy [Mayweather].”

    If it turns out Floyd actually has a hard fight against Victor, i doubt he'll fight Pacquaio. Pacquaio will fight Victor most likely.

    Subconsciously Floyd is so ****in scared of Pac he may lose to Ortiz just so he can retire for good.

    I think, Roach wants to see a good fight, so that he can have a good update on Mayweather's condition, in case, a fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao does get sealed in the near future.

    How hasn't Freddie Roach came up with a gameplan yet? 41 fights and you had a good gameplan with Oscar. Maybe he doesn't believe Manny will be able to execute the gameplan.
