Good fight. I don't blame Bika for being so inactive when he's got no one to really fight in Austrailia and big names often avoid him in the rest of the world. I think Bika finally deserve a chance like this really.
He deserves to get brutally KTFO and then spend the rest of his career earning no more than four digits a purse on tiny Australian off-TV cards, after that BS with Mendy.
Bika would beat the brakes off of Pavlik. Bika looked really strong in that Ward fight. I'd pick him over guys like AA,Pavlik, & Green. I could see him beating Kessler as well. Too strong, too dirty, just too much for Pavlik. I think Pavlik is gonna end up how AA did a 168
The Mendy fight was not the first time Bika hit a guy while he was down. He did it to Codrington too.
The thing about Bika is there's no reason to face him unless it's necessary. He probably won't beat you if you're a top guy, but he's likely to be awkward, dirty, go the distance with you, give you some hell, make you both look like ****, etc. Why fight a guy like this? You won't get much credit for beating him anyway. It's just volunteering for a long, rough night for little reward. It's like when Mosley wanted to fight Clottey and Richardson said something like "You can beat him but why? Nobody looks good against this dude."
All good points. Factor in the possibility of being hurt by illegal tactics, and you have a fight that makes no sense for Team Pavlik.
