I have to admit it does get me a little worked up to see a Danny Green nut hugger take a pot shot at Manny Pacquiao :dead

Shame on Pacman for feasting on woeful opposition such as Cotto, Margarito, Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez x2, De La Hoya (Old & Shot Version), Barrera x2, Morales x3, Clottey, Mosley (Old & Shot Version).

Danny Green's opposition is so much better.

As talented as Mayweather is he's had a few distractions lately and may be a little on the rusty side. This might just even the stakes a bit.

Sorry if I seem like I'm being really picky. But in 8-12 months time when Pac-May fails to be made again, we'll be back to square one again.

Yes. But I'll rephrase to be more clear:

    - It's good if it's a tune-up to Pac-May.
    - It's **** if it's an alternative to Pac-May.

That there is the crux of the issue. Is Mayweather planning to fight Pac, or is he just planning on making easy money before crawling back to his hole again.

That was like reading a rainbow. Please don't do that again. :D Ortiz looked a lot better at a more natural weight. I'd back Ortiz at Welterweight over both Margarito and Cotto at this point in time. He'd have too much for Clottey too.

Your point that a guy loses the right to a tune up is so far wide of the mark it's not funny. Mayweather of all people can pick and choose what he wants. People are going to watch it. The fact he's taking on a young fighter is something I'm impressed with. Who would you rather see him fight, if he's not going to fight Pacquiao this time around?

Is pac planning to fight floyd? Lets not pretend manny has nothing to do with the fight not happening yet.

Floyd will have two fights now with USADA testing. Mosley and ortiz accepting it with open arms just shows how pathetic mannys stance is on the whole thing.

Ortiz looked more comfortable, yes. But did he look better in terms of skill? Not that much. He was still making the same mistakes against Peterson and previous opponents. But fortunately for him, Berto wasn’t that good enough to capitalize on them properly. I now sound like I’m discrediting the win, which I’m not! For Ortiz and the level he’s at, it’s an awesome win. But the level which he, Berto, Khan, Maidana, etc, are all operating in, are at least two levels below the level Mayweather and Pac are in. And I strongly disagree. The Margarito and Cotto that fought Pacquiao, would bust Ortiz up.

Yes, Mayweather can pick and choose who he wants, because all roads lead to Money Mayweather, right? But that doesn’t automatically mean I should respect his ability to do that. If he's to constantly come in and out of the sport taking fights which suit him and delay the one that we want, then you can expect some of us to get a little impatient with him. He wouldn't need these 'tune-ups' if he would just stick around and take the fight the world wants.

And I’d rather not see him fight at all, than to not fight Pacquiao. He can beat on Ortiz, Khan, Berto, and others alike, all he wants, but these aren’t the fights we’re asking for.

I've done the whole drug-testing thing to death, on here.

I'll just say that those who think Floyd's insistence on 'cleaning up the sport' is a serious one, then they are fools. Mosley, Ortiz and any other lesser fighter, have no choice but to accept Floyd's demands because they're not the cash-cows. Manny, on the other hand, is equal to Mayweather at the negotiation table. Unlike others, Manny doesn't have to give into any of Floyd's exceeding demands - which were only born out of the desire to distract Manny and his mental state for the fight.

So I have no qualms with him sticking his fingers up at the ridiculous accusations and excessive demands.

Only the most ardent Mayweather fan boys believe that this fight has yet to happen because of Manny.

    A big :patsch

Who said anything about believing floyd wants to clean up the sport. I dont believe that for one second. But that doesnt make it wrong. Random testing is a good thing, no matter how you cut it.

So floyd demanding this messed with pacs mental state? Oh, poor manny. Answer this.... How did floyd know manny would say NO to the tests?

Excessive demands? Ask shane and victor how excessive they are.

If you don't want to watch one of the all time greats against a young up and comer, I don't know what to tell you.

huh? so your answer is Floyd should remain dormant because Uncle Rico thinks nobody but Manny deserves his attention??

Who is saying that Ortiz is on Floyds level?? It's simple, we get a youthfull world champ with an exciting aggresive style including the ability to floor guys AND get off the floor.

Stop crying over Floyd and Manny and enjoy the fight.

It’s got everything to do with Floyd wanting to ‘clean up the sport’. That’s what his whole campaign has been built on for crying out loud. And seeing as though you believe it’s bull**** too, then what’s wrong with Manny refusing his demands after he’s been falsely accused and had his reputation tarnished? Why should he be obliged to play into Mayweather’s games? Yes random testing is a good thing, but not when it’s used for Mayweather’s propaganda.

And Yeah, that’s right, give yourself a good slap . Because everyone has known since the first Morales fight back in 2005 that Pacquiao has a phobia of having blood drawn randomly! It's not brand new news, mate.

And are you that simple-minded to think that because one person is ok with agreeing to something, then somebody else automatically will? Mosley and Ortiz are also the lesser guys at the negotiating table. They have no choice but to comply with Mayweather’s requests.
