I'd take issue with that, I think the reputation of alot of the Blues fans who suppourt him when fights preceeds us a bit. In no way are we all angels but it does take both sides to have a row. I think because the Blues lot who follow Frankie are as voiciferous and passionate as we are then it tends to make a mountain out of a mole hill at the slightest hint of trouble. Obviously I'm biased but I think the ****** shows are a better specatacle for the suppourt all of his fighters attract including Blues.
firstly, let me say I speak as a Gavin fan, a brummie, and a bluenose, but my opinion is the press conference was unprofessional, and Curtis comes out of well for not reacting to those confrontational comments from Frankies mates! Also, has Dean Powell been on holiday to the sun?
lol Dean Powell's had a ****ed up makeover....Starting to get a good few bluenoses on here now..Just got to try and convert Wallet inspector:yep Trust me, he only needs a little push in the right direction and a little support
On July the 16th we're gonna see the X Factor... And then Britain's Got Talent. What the gay was that all about???
yeah - me and the girlfriend noticed at the magnifiecent seven night in brum just how provoked frankie's 'fans' were, when they had to defend themselves against those evil welsh fans. there they were ,those taffs and their girlfriends, just endlessly trying to provoke the zulus that turned up halfway through the night. i totally agree that anyone who tried to make out that several hundred pissed up zulus deliberately provoked a scrap with the fans in the neighbouring block of seats would be making a mountain out a mole hill. i probably didn't see the zulus trying to provoke the welsh for 10-15 minutes before launching a'pincer'movement and then attacking anyone who was sat in that block, never mind if they were alone, with partners or in a group. the fact that it went out for ages without the intervention of security just made it all the worse. still frankies boys were probably just having abit of laugh weren't they?
:deal Here's some quotes I took from here after the Mag 7 show: Not saying all Frankie's fans are like that, but there's certainly enough who aren't good news.
Whats with those Journo's and the **** taking of Curtis, ive never seen the press disrespect a fighter like that. Pathetic.
funny coz i was in the next block to the welsh nad have no axe to grind. there was absolutely no trouble until tennish when the 100-200 frankie fan club turned up en masse and filled the block to the right of thewelsh. they were goading them within minutes and there was only one set of blokes who performed the pincer movement and then started fighting with anyone who looked like putting up any dissent. if it wasn't that one sided then why did scores of the welsh (& other neutrals in that block) hurriedly scurry over to sit in the relative safety of our seats? i accept there were some tasty big lads amongst the welsh and that some fought back, but that was because they were attacked for no reason and many of them were with partners or families
Was at the nec too and was defo blues fans who caused all the trouble. 'Sheep shaggers' was being shouted at the welsh all night. no need
Mccracken had the same type following, not boxing fans and not really football fans in my book. Just want to fight in gangs, basically have'nt grown up. Its funny watching football firms clash really, they look like absolute fannys running up then standing there shouting bollox then catching probably 1/2 dozen of a rival firm and giving them a hiding when theres 40 of them. Whatever floats ya boat i suppose but its ****ed up boxing in brum for true fans
Frankie will look spectacular on July 16th and I also predict he'll stand Selchuk on his head yet again ;-) Frankie is the future face of boxing in this country ;-) Believe it people ;-)
Woodhouse was sound there, seems very focused, just hope he aint to eager on the night and heart rules head. Handled everyone with ease, given the scenario. MON THE WOODY !!!
