What's so funny? If you want to show me the masses of **** talk, then I'd happily shut my mouth :good Er, he said Haye/Klit could end up on Primetime, not that it's better. You know, that actually wasn't a lie. That was one reason why the press conference was re-scheduled a week after. You know why? Because there was no Sky Contract drawn up to show Haye/Klit. Primetime was explored, this is a fact.
Go suck Saj dick. Team Khan are pathetic and think Khan vs Mccloskey is bigger than Barcelona vs Real Madrid SKY has every right to tell them to go **** themselves. The fight was perfectly fine on SS3 but Team Khan wanted it on SS1 instead of el classico.
Sky would never let Haye/Wlad go to primetime, it would have been a suicidal move to let that happen.
:rofl Nice reply mate. Well done. I don't care if they think Khan/McCloskey is bigger than Barca/Madrid or not, that's their own personal opinion. Why would Sky tell them to **** off because of something like that? It's not like they seriously thought Sky would consider shifting such a match. They tried their best for their fighter and Business, it's what they do. No, it was not 'perfectly fine' for SS3. Khan was going to make pathetic money for what was called a homecoming fight, and so he went to Primetime where he made a little more. Right decision? Me personally, I say no. They've tried to get this on SS1,SS2,SS3 but Sky don't want it? As B4E said, maybe they asked for a big fee or whatever it was, but we don't know that.
If i remember correctly, Khan didn't get THAT much more money off Primetime that was being offered for SS3 did he?
That's bull****. You think golden boy are gonna give up this opportunity to make money for one fighter. Mayweather only recently said press tours coming to uk for Ortiz fight.
Mmmm, that was a foreign football match whereas Khan McCloskey was a British/Irish world title. Yet a couple of weekends later SKY keeps the FW domestic mega-farce on PPV.....
That's his opinion, not a lie, is it? Is that what you call '**** talk'? Not quite sure. Don't know how much 70K buys works out to in the end, but I think it was definitely more than what Sky offered. To be fair, the 70K exceeded everyone's estimates, especially the great Eddie Hearn who estimated 5K at best and described it as commercial suicide.
Laz - De La Hoya was talking so much **** about Sky in the post-fight presser, comparing Primetime with Showtime and that he will have his people talk to Primetime etc. Well good luck to Primetime, they could gain from it. But, Team Khan bit that hand that fed them. They ****ed up the Khan-McCloskey card - it was a really abysmal night of boxing and I am glad Khan is off. They cant be trusted to put on a quality card for PPV and Khan isnt a PPV fighter per se. Good riddance to Team Khan, they reap what they sow.:deal
I can't wait for this self-righteous, chippy little cnut to get ironed out but I can live with not paying £15 to see it live at 4am. I won't pay for his fights, end of story, I don't like him.
