:dealGood post. I agree with all of it.
His just a young lad isn't he, he'll either give up when he realises Calzaghe's not coming back or he'll learn to respect quality fighters.

I think there resumes are pretty close Joe. C best wins Chris Eubanks, Jeff Lacy (masterclass) Kessler , Hopkins.... Lets not mention a shot Roy Jones..
If Froch beats Ward then goes on to fight Bute and beats him, thats if Kessler doesnt beat Bute first... Thats a pretty good resume , NO?
Remember Joe.c didnt look to clever in all his fights either especially when he fought Hopkins and at domestic level.

I'm Welsh and a big Calzaghe fan, as are you as you have him dipicted in your Avatar

But guess what, Froch already has a better resume than Calzaghe.

One thing you have to love about Froch is that will fight anyone.

Calzaghe fought 40 window washers then beat some past it legends

Froch will continue to fight the best and probably get a few more losses on his resume. But he will have loads more wins against top opposition. But no matter what happens his resume will look much better than Calzaghes

Yes he did, but what did he do before that?

    Beat up 40 window cleaners

Froch is currently fighting the best and will continue to do so

You're a joke, but no-one realistically thinks that Calzaghe was ducking Johnson, or would have lost to him.

froch and Calzaghe will both be remembered years from now as great fighters, but Froch will always be in Calzaghe’s shadow.

I don't see why people just can't admire Froch for taking on tough fights, home and away, without talking about Calzaghe. Joe is retired. He has his legacy, albeit with some holes in it, but a good one. Maybe people should compare both fighters resume's when Froch has actually retired. At the moment, props to the guy for taking on whatever is out there, even last night he said he was keen to re-match Kessler.
