Mc,good comment on Lee Oma, who at times was a helluva fighter,who I saw several times before at MSG.
But the handsome Oma who fought with his hands af his side, seldom trained.
It was rumored at the time, that Oma's training consisted of walking from one end of the bar to the other end ! He played the role of a bartender in "On the Waterfront " with Marlon Brando....Cheers...

Thanks for the info Burt , O. T .W .is one of my favourite films, I was unaware Oma was in it .
I know the dynamic duo, Tony and Tami were.
In passing I read that Brando modelled his Terry Malloy on boxer Roger Donaghue , even down to the shaved bit in the eyebrow,aparently they hung around together for awhile ,there is an article in either an old Ring ,or BI magazine.
Terrific perfomances from all concerned, Lee J Cobb, and Karl Malden ,more than hold their own with Steiger, and Brando imo.
