    Lucian Bute the SMW champion has recived the "Jersey Joe Walcott" title awarded for being the best boxer at the IBF version. The trophy was previously given to Wladimir Klitschko in 2009.

    Well done to Bute for his well deserved award. Meanwhile, in the real world, the top 3 SMW's are Ward, Froch and Kessler.

    Lucian has to win some fights against far better opposition before he deserves any awards in my book!

    Don't get me wrong, I think Bute has the potential to be good. He has shown some signs of ability. However, he has got to step up the level of opposition, and fast. I reckon he should take a fight with Kessler, for the right to face the winner of the super six.
