To be honest, I like Wlad more than most other Heavies out there. If he continues on for a little while longer I could bear it. I understand he draws big crowds and huge interest in Eastern Europe.

However,

Eastern Europe has dominated the Heavyweight division for years with many boring fights, leading to a decline in interest to the point where Heavyweight boxing is pretty much reviled in the US with no TV coverage. In the UK it is better because of Haye, and I think if Haye were to dominate the division for a year or two (I'm not saying this will happen by any means) it would kick-start boxing a bit. It would be a fresh new chapter for the division and the sport.

i agree, boxing needs some excitement. but i just hope its from someone that respects our sport. wlad for his part, IS trying to be a little more charismatic, i would even go so far as to guess he has coaches just for that reason. Tyson is looked so down on for his later fights when he was eating kids and praising alla, which takes away from his legacy. haye as a person has no business being in boxing if he can only hype up fights with violence. why cant he focus more on his talents than cheap, grotesque violent acts?

btw, i still dont know what 'smh' means!

I agree when you say some of the things Haye does/says is below the belt, but being honest, I think even you realise the advantages he would bring as heavyweight champion.

He is fast, flash and no stranger to controversy. He speaks English, speaks it well and can be charming when he tries.

Compare that to the myriad of almost personality defunct, straightforward Eastern Europeans, no contest what would be better for boxing as a sport.

I think some of you lunatic Klitchsko fans should stop posting. Not only are you showing signs of mental illness, you will turn the neutrals against your fighter. I dont even have words for you wishing harm to another boxer. And people shouldn't have to explain to you why as well.

Do boxing fans really want a degenerate sociopath representing their sport? Not to worry, this will be Spinks Tyson all over again, except spinks made it through a minute and didnt suffer any permanent brain damage. Wlad will do in the ring what Haye does on t-shirts and on the internet.

Thank God for David Haye, he is bringing us the biggest Heavyweight fight since Tyson v Lewis

wow, decapitating other human beings isnt wishing 'harm' on other boxers. im simply saying this is a sport. there is no place for that bull**** in it, and idiotics like haye plays. haye is a disgusting person, and if he could back up even half of his threats, he should be committed and/or in jail. fortunately for him, he cant.

i dont want haye to retire or get hurt, but im not the one looking at my severed head on a t-shirt or on the internet. haye is a child. this fight will seperate the men from the boys. i think its quite obvious what will happen, and hopefully, wlad doesnt let haye get to him too much or else, like i said, haye wont just feel pain, but he will genuinely get hurt in the ring.

i wish haye could be an ambassador for the sport of boxing, and rely on his talents and wit, not just putting up crude horrific images of his opponent
