Results: Junior dos Santos (239) vs. Shane Carwin (254) Kenny Florian (146) vs. Diego Nunes (145) Jon Olav Einemo (261) vs. Dave Herman (233) Demian Maia (186) vs. Mark Munoz (186) Donald Cerrone (155) vs. Vagner Rocha (155) Chris Weidman (186) vs. Jesse Bongfeldt (185) Yves Edwards (155) vs. Sam Stout (155) Dustin Poirier (146) vs. Jason Young (145) Nick Ring (185) vs. James Head (186) Darren Elkins (145) vs. Michihiro Omigawa (145) Krzysztof Soszynski (205) vs. Mike Massenzio (201) Aaron Rosa (261) vs. Joey Beltran (247) Also, I noticed that Sherdog picked Carwin for a round 2 TKO.... now I'm not saying it won't happen, but how do they arrive at this conclusion? Carwin has been to the 2nd round once in his entire career and in that instance he was so gassed he couldn't stand and had to be rushed to hospital. Dos Santos has been to the 2nd and 3rd rounds before, and looked good doing it, and the general consensus I've gathered from pretty much everyone is that if it goes past 1 round Dos Santos pretty much owns this fight. Again, I'm not saying Carwin won't get the tko in the 2nd, but I'm failing to see how Sherdog is justifying this as a pick. A much safer (and more likely) pick would be Carwin by (T)KO in the 1st or Junior anytime thereafter.
The betting line for JDS was -165 when I checked it this morning. If it's still around there tomorrow I'll be all over it.
