Mundine to fight for world title in 2011

Yea mate just goes to show the bull**** for what it is . But if Anthony "The Mechanic " Mundine does step up and fights Trout then I will be the first to give him props if he wins but what would be the point ! He will only drop the belt if he wins and is ordered to face Cotto just like did when this exact senerio happened with Kessler , if I was talented enough to get as far as # 1 challenger beneath some one like Kessler I would be busting a gut trying to make the fight happen mate .

 

true.but technically if it happens he will have fought for
a world title in 2011 and the thread title is correct.he knew after being well beaten the first time he would not
beat Kessler if they rematched and yes he will go back to MW before he would fight Cotto.

 

Sorry Stiff I can't agree to that regular world title **** I have trouble recognising these ABC titles as a world champion title , unification of all 4 recognised trinkets to me yields a world champ dint even get me started on these mickey mouse
Straps like the IBO . WBU etc Mundine if he fights and wins this trinket is still a few fights away from fighting for a world title mate .

Beacause there are enough people out there that are delusional enough to believe that Mundine will fight someone with a little bit of quality for a real title, not a bull**** interim one, a real one. Though the majority of us know that he will go along fighting handpicked opponents while taking the Oz boxing community for a ride.

Mundine is a shot fighter and he knows it.He is worse now than when he began his career. His last fight against a welter rated 268 says it all.

 

i read an interview with trout where he mentions he'l probably fight mundine after lopez today. Trout says he's always wanted to come to australia.
