    good point, berto's resume is ****. barring manny and khan, this is probably the best and most realistic challenge. ****, if mayweather fights a young, prime, talented and highly rated challenging and STILL gets **** on than he can't win. i'd prefer manny but this is a great alternative

    wow, suprised you want to know the opinion of this "noob".

    Mayweather is gonna run around, counter punching for most of the fight... like he does(*****). but Manny's gonna catch him late in the fight and do what Mosley couldn't, finish him.

    i don't understand how ppl can think Ortiz is going to be a tough fight. A, Floyd would NEVER take on someone who has a chance of beating him. B, Ortiz is way too slow for Floyd. Ortiz can punch hard but that won't be nearly enough. just like Pac - Margarito. Margarito packs a punch but he still got demolished. look for the same with Floyd/Ortiz match.
    don't get me wrong, i HOPE Ortiz gets lucky and knocks Floyd the **** out.

    exactly. Under normal circumstances, I'd think Floyd would Gatti Ortiz, but he hasn't fought since May and he's a lot older now and according to Roach has no legs :roll:
    Ortiz isn't the type of fighter to shake the cobwebs off with.

    Ortiz has not even been impressive of late, he just beat an overrated Berto at a better weight for him. I suppose he is a KILLER now Floyd might be fighting him huh?

    Funny how peoples minds change. One decent fight and he's ****ing superman. Amazing.
