    Round 2

Suleymanov is parachuting in with those overhand rights, ducking under most of Avalos' high straight shots on the way in. Wild uppercuts and overhands from Suleymanov as he continues to jump in and out. Big right hand by Suleymanov. Now a right to the body. Avalos is unable to get off as Suleymanov is landing and grabbing. Suleymanov taps him with the top of his knuckles, jabbing lightly and slipping Avalos' jabs. Suleymanov reaches down to the body with his jab, legs splayed wide. HARD double hooks to the chin by Suleymanov as he straightens up. Nice slipping of the jab by Suleymanov. Hard overhand right clubs Avalos across the head. Good counter combo by Suleymanov.

    10-9 Suleymanov

    19-18 Avalos

Is the Russian tired or what? He needs to keep his mouth shut or that jaw is gonna get broken.

I like what i see. I made a rash decision not knowing anything about the Russian but last time i saw Avalos fight he disappointed so i bet on the over. it was at 7.5

    Round 3

Suleymanov walks into a couple of straight shots, and smiles. He keeps lurching in behind hard high left hooks and powerful overhand rights. Nice uppercut inside by Suleymanov. Avalos is pushed to the ropes. Clinch. Suleymanov shoves him back off. Suleymanov puts up a strange deconstructed guard with his right hand held across his chest and his left perpendicular and out at length. Avalos is getting outboxed a bit until he lands big and stuns the recklessly bouncing Suleymanov with a right hand, whose glove brushes the canvas. Referee Lou Moret tries to apply a standing 8 but can't extricate the two. Finally he gets control and deducts a point from Avalos for interfering as he was trying to apply the count. He gives him a VERY stern talking-to. Suleymanov is mad. He catches Avalos with some hard left hooks. Hard overhand right!! Avalos might get knocked down himself. Another right to the temple by Suleymanov.

    So...9-8 Avalos?

Avalos hasn't lived up to the hype that was surrounding him early on in his career. Not at all.
