George groves has told Spencer Fearan that Jim Mcdonnel has not paid Booth on the Bet they agreed on Tv with regards to the Degale/Groves fight, Mcdonnel made the bet because he was confident Degale would win easy and he also egged Degale on to a winner takes all fight with Groves, Booth and Groves let off Degale after Groves won, would Degale had done the same if the result was different ? I bet Mcdonnel would have been shouting from the roof tops for his money if his man had won.
Booth let him off in the post fight interview....;O) Still, the honourable thing to do would be to pay up.
Well in the post fight interview, I only heard Adam Booth say "we'll let James off the bet." Obviously Jimmy Mac isn't gonna hand over anything to Booth now anyway.. but I'm sure the Dark Lord could take it if he really wanted.
"Booth says his impromptu side-bet with DeGale's trainer, Jim McDonnell, made at the same press conference to the tune of £20,000, is also off."
When did he say that ? Groves as recently told Fearan a different story, so from who, where and when did you get your information ?
whats your problem ? your one of them that comments on any old ****, so if you are not interested in the story, then don't comment, that's what I do, I only comment on stories that interest me, know what I mean mate ?
That was may the 19th, maybe that was said to protect the image of the industry, but maybe privately the bet was still on, Spencer wrote on his facebook wall 18 hours ago, that he had just spoke to George groves and he was told that the bet as not been honoured.
Are you always such a *****, you always coment on **** and write **** as well, thats what I meant, now **** off and play with yourself moron.
Maybe it was, I'd say it's more likely that it was called off though. Do you believe everything Spencer puts on his facebook? He talks a lot of **** on there from what I've heard. He's not exactly the most reliable source.
i said this on another thread and buncey said that all bets were off cos of the bbboc. including the dark lord an mcdonnell
