Billy, you did leave yourself open to criticism with this thread... That guy with a 7-6 record fighting for the commonwealth title is about the equivelent of you fighting midget Norweigans and Afrobums for a world title.
The bit where he shrugged, that can be clearly considered as an ecstatic celebration. There's plenty of reasons for thinking Clev is a **** without making one up. :hi:
I agree about this fight. The Aberdeen fans are once again being duped into believing this is a proper title fight against a proper opponent, its not. It isnt any better or worse than some of the tomato cans that Burns has had lined up in front of him. Thing is, both guys are at the age where they need to be fighting higher levels of opponent, to reach the next level, or theyll plateu and come up short when its deliver the goods time. Thats more directed at McAliister, as at least Burns has passed some decent tests.
true, however you also have to feel sorry for their football fans who are constantly short changed by a group of players who only turn up 3 or 4 times a season, they really should be reported under the trade descriptions act.
Do you that the people who make fights like this and call them a 'Championship fight' are guilty of fraud?
What a load of bollocks. Most people were absolutely delighted to see him beat Martinez. Just because you can't bring yourself to criticise a fellow Scottish boxer, doesn't mean everyone else should.
as you always seem to point out with ricky burns, lee doesn't choose these fights his manager does. or does that only work when you talk about your fighters getting easy fights? you have really lost the plot BB Nelson
