    Round 3

They slug away with Nguyen finally getting some crisp shots in. Del Valle is still blasting him with that right hand, though - even while backing up and under fire. Nguyen is making it into more of a brawl but still losing.

    30-27 DV

    30-27 Del Valle.

Dat had a decent 3rd, but still lost. Del Valle with the bigger, more accurate puncher

    Round 4

Toe to toe. Clapping away at each other. Del Valle steps out and jabs. Nguyen misses his jab from outside, lunging. Del Valle pushes him to the ropes and works the body. Nguyen helpless. Del Valle keeps him on the ropes and pecks away at him, taking far fewer hits than he's dishing out.

40-36 Del Valle. Dat is a tough fighter, but is not in Luis' class. I like Del Valle as a fighter, He gets hit a lot, though. and he could be in trouble if he fights a big puncher.

    Round 5

Del Valle is clapping his arms up from his sides and catching Nguyen on the sideburns. Del Valle is now outboxing him, pretty much just leading him around in circles with quick steps and trickling out counters.

50-35 shutout for Del Valle. More of the same. Dat not strong enough to keep Luis off him. Del Valle too busy. Good combos.

Big round from Del Valle. Nguyan looks like he was ready to quit that round. It will be no shame for the corner to stop the fight. Dat won't win. 60-54 Del Valle.

    Round 6

Del Valle still working more smoothly and landing hard shots. Nguyen is bending slightly at the knees and trying to rocket up with a right uppercut, but not able to land and gets grabbed. Del Valle blasts him against the ropes with several unanswered bombs. Nguyen tries to tie back up but is getting pushed back and clocked frequently. Beat-down.

    60-54 Del Valle
