Unlike others I am not a Mundine or any other boxer hater, however I am a close observer of the sport and strongly believe that Anthony is nothing like the boxer he was, in fact I think his best effort was against Kessler and he lost that. He is milking paydays against fighters of embarassing quality and does nothing for his legacy or the integrity of boxing in general.

Thats true, but a fight against trout deserves praise. If it comes off, then choc has stepped up appreciably. Cant bag him for that.

What makes you think austin cant do a bridge climb and fly interstate on the day of the fight and still kick the **** out of anthony? :rofl

Ps. Pm me where the fight is likely to be. I might have an overseas guest down here for the fight.

Wollongong isn't that far from Sydney and a bridge walk.

Any reasonable challenge and I will be cheerin for him but sadly none of these fights ever come off. Meanwhile, he is getting older and his skills deteriorating along with that, all adds up to a sad ending.

Wouldnt matter if the fights in perth. Austin could do the climb then get a noon flight to w.a. And arrive a few hrs before his fight.

    Thats plenty of time :D

Lets wait and see. Choc can avoid a challenge and he might have second thoughts after viewing the trout fight from today. Although according to bscene, trout had a few rough spots against lopez. I couldnt find a stream.

Fighthype have a very recent interview with trout and he mentions mundine and coming to oz as being likely. So ash looks right on the mark.

Lopez rocked Trout in the 11th round. But apart from that it was Trout in control apparently.

If you can believe what is being said around the place, and in the press, Trout v Mundine will happen, and within about 6 to 8 weeks.

Biggest issues for Choc are that Trout is a southpaw, and he hasn't fought one for more than 10 years (Mark Bargero), and it'd obviously be at light middle, a weight Choc's probably never fought at in his life.

Yep. But it wont be that early. Trout will need to arrive down here probably two weeks before the fight. 8 weeks would mean he keeps training from now....id say he would want a little time off so he isnt doing back to back camps.

??? It's not 'peak season' for travellers to and from Sth America, so airfare hikes are out of the question.

Must have something to do with Susie???
