Quite possibly, I wouldnt necassarily want him to change his thing either.... There's no doubt they will train for it though.

Think there is a significant chance Floyd at some point needs to show heart. There will be many more significant moments where the same needs to be said of Ortiz.

    Doubt it :verysad

floyds been training all this last year on the quiet !

he wouldn't even step foot in the ring with a journeyman if he
    thought he was slipping :nono

he's gonna be fresh as a daisy

ortiz will galantly but clumsily plod forward trying to have a row
    with floyd
floyd will pot shot with single shots ALL NIGHT
slowly break his confidence , ortiz will get confused with floyds defence as he struggles to land
and will charge forward making more mistakes
floyd will start putting combos together rds 10 11 12

Let's not get crazy. Floyd puts his shirt in the morning just like you do mate.
Anything is possible. he is older not at his best at 147 and let us admit we do not know how good or bad ortiz really is as a welter.
At the end of the day he is a strong aggressive kid and it has been quite sometime since Floyd faced a younger fighter. He is not better than he was only older and rusty so probably not the best time to start fighting dangerous Welters at this point in time.

Please, when was the last time Floydie KOed anyone? Hatton, **** Callazo & Lazcano had him out on his feet only for the Ref to step in & save Ricky. Ricky's chin is no measuring stick for Mayweather's power... Who has FMJ KOed at WW before & since Hatton? Answers on a postcard please.

Nope, this will be another 12 rounds of FMJ pot-shotting his way to a boring UD.

Some people are forgetting that Floyd only fights guys that he knows he can beat. He will never lose. He'll continue to duck the guys who have the style to beat him (like he ducked Margarito) and just fight the guys who are hopeless against him.
