This could be a war!! :happy :bbb

It is this coming Saturday - apparently not televised? :blood

Both are coming off losses (a disappointing 2nd round Prizefighter exit for Choi, and a demoralizing KO loss to Jhonny Gonzalez in what had started out a competitive affair for Action Jackson) and will be hungry for a statement win. Both the Ugandan-Aussie and the Mongolian-Brit have a penchant for brawling.

    Who takes it?

Yeah it's not on TV, IB.

The show is being put on by a relatively new promoter, Spencer Fearon who's tends to make good match ups rather than mismatches with name fighters. Unfortunately, the latter seems to work better for Sky.

Hoping Choi stops him late but is bound to be outboxed for a time.

Got to like Asiku's UK form as well: Two Commonwealth title fights. Two Round One KOs.

I don't see Choi winning this, unfortunately. It's too much for him at this point.

    That is shocking.

    SHOCKING.

This fight is better than probably 50% of Sky main events. Maybe more.

I'm not sure if it's on Youtube, but his brief war with Gonzalez is well worth checking out (it was a PPV here in the states, and is still saved on my DVR...in fact, it's the only thing from 2010 that's still on there). Evenly matched until Jhonny's legendary power became telling.

If it isn't online...maybe I can record it on my phone in chunks and upload the videos to Youtube myself. :think Won't be the greatest of quality obviously, but it's an HDTV and a fairly new model Android device with a 5-megapixel camera. :conf

My hunch as well, based on that showing in the tournament rematch with Derry. Choi won't go quietly into that goodnight, though. It will fun from the first bell...and none of us will get to see it. :-(

Here is Asiku's last fight, losing the IBO title to Jhonny Gonzalez but showing his mettle:

Here is Tseveenpurev's last fight, also showing what he's made of:

Thanks IB :good Hadn't seen Asiku before so good to see him.

Reading up on him, did you know he arrived in Vegas from Perth (17 hour flight) the night before the fight! Pretty good effort considering.
