David Haye wants money, that's all he's interested in. In the very improbable event of him beating Wlad, he will fight Vitali for another massive pay day. In the likely event he gets beaten by Wlad, he'll retire with lots of dosh as happy as Larry.
I know a hell of a lot say it and lie but I believe him on this lol I honestly think July 2 will be his last no matter what.
If he does manage to beat Wlad but then retires because oooh it's his birthday.. how much of a **** is he gonna look whenever Vitali turns up anywhere?
I dont think he cares mate.He made a **** of himself by saying the Klitschkos only fight old bums who have no chance before himself signing to fight Audley Harrison because of 'all the emails from fans'
That's what I'm thinking too. He's been consistent with the deadline for years and I can't see him suddenly changing his mind. With the possible exception of breaking it by a few months to get the Vitali fight and a giant payday. I definitely can't see him fighting in 2012 or beyond.
Very few pack it in with monumental pay days to be had. Haye will be no exception. Though it could take 12 months or more to haggle with vitali.
Regardless of what happens...it ain't gonna be pretty on here ! I can see the thread from White Tiger now...
So Haye's proposed legacy is gonna be solely based on knocking out someone who's been knocked down 11 times and already stopped 3 times? If he actually beats Wlad and then retires.. he's definitely gonna look like a ***** to the world of boxing and Vitali will hunt him down.
